The project began with a 16-lane flyover on Sheikh Zayed Road with the construction of two minor flyovers and a multi-phase intersection of Al Wasl and Jumeirah Roads. These road networks are designed eight meters high and stretches up to 800 meters, permitting the canal to flow freely in under it.
