A suspension bridge connects Sheikh Shakhbout bin Sultan Street (19th street) to Khalifa Al Mubarak Street. The island is popular with cyclists, who use designated lanes to ride their bikes right over the bridge.

Al Hudayriat Island is a popular destination for those looking for the greatest riding trails in Abu Dhabi. Marsana, the island’s core, is a waterfront promenade with space for more than a dozen food and beverage enterprises. Visitors can also enjoy an observation pier and a free-seating area. A marina on the corner of Marsana can house up to 40 boats. These areas must be leased from management.
Visitors to the island’s camping sector will be able to reserve a stay in either regular tents that sleep up to two people or deluxe tents. The luxury tents may accommodate groups of four or six people, but there is also the option of a two-story tent with exclusive beach access. Bab Al Nojoum also has a family camping area and camper van choices. Standard tents cost between Dh150 and Dh300 per night, depending on size. Campers will also have used the area’s bathrooms, showers, and barbecue grills.
Luxury tents can also be rented for around Dh1,000. Some tents are attached to vans with beds and rooftop seating. The most opulent tents are beach cabanas with their own tiny swimming pool. Only registered Bab Al Nojoum guests have access to the on-site beach. On-site amenities include a restaurant with fresh grills and a bonfire.
The island’s sports area is located near the Bab Al Nojoum portion. It has both indoor and outdoor areas to encourage guests to exercise and live an active lifestyle.
A full-sized football field, as well as tennis, basketball, and badminton courts, are among the new additions. Six 400-meter running and cycling pathways have also been created on the island.
