Sheikh Hamdan Approves “Dubai: The World’s Best City” Strategy

On November 5, 2025, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, approved a new set of programs and policies aimed at making Dubai “the best and most livable city in the world.” This comes as Dubai’s best neighborhoods for living and real estate investment continue to draw increasing interest from investors and new residents.

Sheikh Hamdan said during the meeting:

“Dubai is the best and most beautiful city in the world, and we want it to remain the most advanced, attractive and sustainable, setting the global standard for future cities that balance human wellbeing and urban resilience.”

He further added:

“Dubai has one of the world’s largest aviation sectors and continues to reinforce its status as a globally competitive centre for this industry.”

Dedication to Human Capital, Health and Education

The Crown Prince of Dubai underlined that improving the quality of education and developing human capital are two of the emirate’s top priorities. Dubai wants to be one of the top ten cities in the world for quality education.

New medical screening initiatives are being carried out in the healthcare industry in an effort to decrease waiting times to less than seven days and increase patient satisfaction levels above 90%.
