Launching of Special Consular Services for UAE Golden Visa Holders
The United Arab Emirates has taken a significant step in assisting its top-tier citizens and investors by offering Golden Visa holders an unparalleled set of special consular services. With features like quick return document issuance, a 24-hour hotline, and extra help in case of emergencies, these services are intended to make life easier and give Golden Residency holders peace of mind.
Aligned with the “Year of Community”
The UAE’s President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has ordered this new initiative and proclaimed 2025 the “Year of Community” with the catchphrase “Hand in Hand.”
This initiative aims to improve inter-agency cooperation, foster social cohesion, and offer creative public services that contribute to the development of a safe and sustainable environment for all locals.
Government Collaboration to Draw in International Talent
The UAE’s national strategy to increase its global competitiveness in attracting talent includes these services, according to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Omar Obaid Al Hassan Al Shamsi.
He underlined that Golden Visa holders now have access to an integrated ecosystem that guarantees them complete support both inside and outside the United Arab Emirates thanks to cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP).
However, the ICP’s Director General, Lieutenant General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, called the initiative “a qualitative leap towards strengthening institutional synergy.”
He went on to say that the project uses clever and effective solutions to create a safe, sustainable and humanitarian environment.
