
Sheikh Hamdan Approves “Dubai: The World’s Best City” Strategy
On November 5, 2025, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, approved a new set of programs and policies aimed at making Dubai "the best and most livable city in the world." This comes as Dubai's best neighborhoods for living and real estate investment continue to draw increasing interest from investors and new residents. Important Initiatives for Dubai's All-Around Development A number of extensive development plans were approved at the Dubai Executive Council meeting, which was held in conjunction with the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025. These plans included: With a budget of AED 18.3 billion, the Parks and Public Green Spaces Strategy calls for 800 new projects, including 310 new parks and a plan to triple the number of trees by 2040. The goal of the Aviation Talent 33 Initiative is to make Dubai the world's aviation hub and generate more than 15,000 new employment opportunities.
