UAE amnesty scheme further extended for a period of one month
We provided our readers with all the details regarding the famous amnesty scheme UAE authorities came up with this year in August in order to filter and correct the country’s residency system by scanning out illegal residents. These illegal residents were provided with a chance to either legalize their residential status within UAE or leave the country on Government’s expense.
Hundreds and thousands of such inhabitants came out in the open and sought amnesty. Many of such residents were facing financial problems in lieu of which they could not even exit the country by simply buying tickets back home. Many were such who were oblivious of regulatory conditions and did not know the right plan of action. Thus, UAE authorities helped all such people by setting up operating centers across the whole country for them to reach out.
Therefore, after encountering the success of this mission and seeing the magnitude of the issue, the government has decided to extend the amnesty period to a further of another month and help people effectively.
Acting Director-General of Foreigners and Ports Affairs at the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Brigadier Saeed Rakan Al Rashidy while shedding some light on the advancement stated: “There was some delay in processing applications at the start of the amnesty period due to some technical issues. Extending the deadline also helps counteract the effect of the delay some amnesty seekers may have faced.”
He further added that the extension is a supporting initiative for more such expatriates looking to legalize their residential status within the country.
Thus, we at dxboffplan.com, believe that this can prove to be a very fruitful initiative on behalf of UAE’s advancement policies and will further ascertain the reliability of this country in the eyes of the people who plan to shape their futures and homes within UAE.
