This year, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) has rated the most influential tall buildings of the past 50 years. It is interesting to note that in the Gulf region, six skyscrapers made it one the list. Above all, three of them belong to the UAE; two from Dubai and one from Abu Dhabi.
Burj Khalifa- the tallest building in the world- and seven-star Burj Al Arab hotel were among those influential buildings that belong to Dubai. In addition to these, Al Bahar Tower in Abu Dhabi is considered as one of the most influential skyscrapers in the world. While, in the Middle East, National Commercial Bank in Jeddah, Doha Tower and the Bahrain World Trade Center are also among 50 Most Influential skyscrapers.
