National Day for UAE has always been an avant-garde and yet an extremely emotional and intimate occasion. With wide ranging celebrations to practising ultimate kindness with all the residents of the country, the rulers have always dignified the event more.
Thus, maintaining the same, this year as well, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler and Prime Minister of UAE decided to release prisoners and inmates who have been serving within the prisons for minor crimes thinking of their families and the value of freedom to them. His Highness ordered the release of 627 prisoners from Dubai‘s prison ahead of the 47th National Day.
Some other Rulers also followed suit and decided to pardon these prisoners. The Ruler of Sharjah, His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi ordered and approved the release of 182 prisoners, The Ruler of Ajman, His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi pardoned 90 prisoners, and The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and Supreme Council Member, His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi order the release of 205 prisoners.
All these advancements by the rulers of these states were made in encouragement of UAE’s President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s initiative of ordering the release of 785 prisoners earlier this month.
This kind initiative has been taken keeping in lieu the core manifesto behind UAE’s creation as a country and its withstanding globally in order to promote peace and happiness within the society.
